The word ‘ministry’ has to do with our service to the Lord and to the community. It is the word that the Bible uses to describe different areas of responsibility of a church. There are numerous ministries: pastoral care, children’s work, worship, working in the kitchen, visits to the sick, etc. Many people in the church already help in one of them to carry on the work of the Lord.
